Antalya - the leader in raising of secondary housing prices.

It is reported, that in June the price of secondary housing rose most strongly in Antalya, and the rent - in Ankara. The prices for new housing increased by 12,57% as compared with the last year.

According to the statements of "Reidin.com" and Society of Investment Partnerships in Real Estate (SIPRE) (Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı Derneği (GYODER), with the support of the Warranty bank (Garanti Bankası), the June report for the real estate indexes, prepared for the secondary and new housing in Adana , Ankara, Antalya, Bursa, İstanbul, İzmir and Kocaeli, was published.

According to the report, Antalya had become the leader for increasing prices on the secondary housing in June, and the rent rose most strongly in Ankara. The prices for the new housing increased by 12,57% in comparison with the last year.

According to the composite index of housing prices there was the increase by 1,18% as compared with the previous month, and by 10,76% as compared with the same period of the last year.

With the increase of the square meter cost by 2,03%, as compared with the previous month, Antalya became the province, in which the price of the secondary housing grew most strongly in June of 2012.

In the same period the price per the square meter of the secondary housing in Bursa has increased by 1,95%, in Ankara – by 1,25% in İzmir – by 1,15% in İstanbul - by 1,08%, in Adana – by 0,89% and in Kocaeli - by 0,43%.

Prices for rental housing rose most strongly in Ankara

Despite Ankara has become the province with the most increased housing rents per square meter, with an increase by 2,19%, the rent rose in İzmir by 1,63%, in Antalya – by 1,59%, Kocaeli – by 1,09%, in Bursa – by 1,06%, in İstanbul - by 0,77%. In Adana, the rental price per square foot remained the same.

According to the new housing price index report in June 2012, published by Reidin.com and (SIPRE) (GYODER), prices for the new housing in comparison with the previous month increased by 0,83%, and in comparison with the same period of the last year – by 12,57%.

In the past month, compared with the previous, housing prices for the apartment of type 1+1 increased by 1,15%, 0,64% for the apartments type 2+1 - by 0,64%, for the apartments type 3+1 – by 0,84%, and for the apartment type 4+1 – by 0,95%.

The price index for the apartments of square from 51 to 75 m2 increased in June in comparison with the previous month by 1,17%, for the apartment from 76 to 100 m2 – by 0,77%, for the apartments from 101 to 125m2 – by 0,81%, for the apartment from 126 to 150m2 – by 0,93%, and for the apartments of 151m2 and over – by 0,51%.

The increasing became almost parallel to the rate of inflation

The speaker, President of (SIPRE) (GYODER), Ishık Gekkaya said the following:
Analyzing the period from January 2012 until today, we see that the growth of the index is in parallel with rising rate of inflation. After reviewing the data of the prices for the new housing index in June 2012, we see that the index increasing in June this year makes 0,83%, which is virtually identical to the monthly inflation growth -0,90%.

On the other hand, we can say that the increase of the price index for the apartments of type 1+1 by 1,15%, for the apartments of type 2+1 by 0,64%, for the apartments of type 3+1 by 0,84% and for the apartments of type 4+1 by 0,95% in comparison with the previous month is the certain opportunity for the formation housing demand.
